General Information
Leverentz Lakes 
These two small lakes are located east of Baldwin in the Pere Marquette State Forest. Little Leverentz isn't much more than a puddle. They are close enough together that the State Forest Campground there simply runs from one to the other.
Camping
Camping- State Forest Campground with 18 campsites, picnic tables and fire rings with grates, $15/ night self-pay
Boat Launch
Boat Launch-
Big Leverentz- paved ramp for boats on trailers with long dock. Huge ramp for handicapped accessibility to the dock
Little Leverentz- very small dirt access with small damaged dock, good for hand carrying small boat or canoe in to this very small lake
Fishing
Fishing- Perch, Bluegill
Hiking
Hiking- Follow the link for a description of the Sheep Ranch Pathway which winds through the campground.
Picnicking
Picnicking- day use of campsites allowed
Swimming
Swimming- no actual beach, but probably possible
Handicap Accessibility
Handicap Accessibility- There is a huge accessible ramp leading to the boat dock on Big Leverentz Lake, and a hardened pathway from that to one of the campsites and the parking area.
Rest Rooms and Potable Water
Rest Rooms- Latrines at both lakes
Potable Water- hand pumps summer only at both lakes

Access- drive in on sand roads, parking for non-campsite use is limited
Restrictions- State Forest rules apply
Seasonality- Pump handle removed in winter
Ecosystem- Small inland lakes surrounded by sandy forest. Flat to gently rolling
Other points of interest- Sheep Ranch Pathway immediately adjacent
