This small park is a great place to have a picnic, and explore a stream. Kibby Creek flows through the park. There is a small bridge over the creek. For a small park it has interesting topography with a steep hill at the back side of the park which is held in place with a stone retaining wall. An appealing spot for a family picnic.

Historic Site
Historic Site- Monument reading, "Pere Marquette Memorial Highway, US 31 from Oceana-Muskegon County Line to Manistee-Benzie County Line. Designated by act of Michigan Legislature, 1954." Note that this is the old US 31 route, not the four lane freeway.

Driving Directions
From Ludington, turn south on Old US 31 (Pere Marquette Highway). The park is 7.5 miles south on the east side of the road in a valley.
From the US 31 Freeway, take the Oceana Drive (north Pentwater) exit. Go west and almost immediately turn north on Pere Marquette Highway. Reach the park in 2.5 miles on the east side of the road in a valley.
